The best description of God

Dear friends, what best describes God than He being Love itself? I found this wonderful message, and I can't help but read it over and over. Now that you are here, let us read it together.


GOd is love

God is Love itself. This means He is infinite love from whom all other loves are derived. Infinity is a quality which belongs to that which has no beginning and ending. It also speaks of that from which all others have their beginning and ending.

God is infinite love because all loves are from Him as Love itself. It also means He is the one who truly gives love. He is the source and giver of love. If anyone has love in him and acts as a result of it, that love is from God no matter who that person is. God is the one and only source of love. There is no love from anywhere else apart from God. 


GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME

The nature of love is to always seek the good of all others and work through wisdom to bring that good into fruition. Love is the greatest and most blessed state, and God is in this state perpetually. God is love. There is no greater will than that which seeks the good of others and works to bring it into being. God’s highest aim is man’s good and His greatest endeavor is to bring this good to man. He works to sustain the created things also for the sake of man’s good.

    I have read the book; it was really a blessing. Indeed, the best description of God is that He is Love itself. With this understanding, all the strange perceptions we have about God (usually inspired by the evil nature of man) will be expelled.

    Again, this will give us the assurance that he has our best interest at heart and that he only acts for our good.

"Just erase and draw again"

I was inspired by a 9 year old boy to draw, I was only 5 years old then. Over the years, I have come to know that there is more to drawing than what we literally see. When I was 5 years old, I saw an older boy drawing. I'm sure he was about 9 years old. He was drawing a man. It was the first time I had seen such a nice drawing, nicer than the ones my nursery teacher drew on the blackboard. I couldn't draw like that, the best I could do was to trace. We will get there!

Sometimes, we get so tired of striving tirelessly without ever reaching our set goals. Sometimes we wonder if we'll ever get there... Sometimes this good pursuit we've given our lives for seems almost unachievable. We keep climbing and climbing, we feel our knees feeble — our limbs shaky and breaths almost fading. Seeing how far we've climbed up, it's irrational climbing down but there's a dementor that pressingly suggests that that's the only option.  Frustration, this shackle, its voice shouts so strong that we almost feel we've lost control.
